Our founders share familial ties to India’s western coastal regions, where generations have relied on native fruits, seeds, oils, and butters for nourishment, healing, and daily care. Encountered Kokum Butter in its unrefined, raw form, recognizing its unique properties and untapped potential in cosmetic formulation.

Came across traditional Tamanu Oil usage through coastal fisher folk in India, highlighting its cultural and therapeutic relevance.

First foray into Global D2C through KokumButter.net and Amazon.com, bringing raw ingredients directly to end users.

ETHERVA was formally registered as a brand along with a US entity to facilitate direct trade between India and the US, consolidating years of sourcing experience into a defined identity.
